My instinct stopped receiving yahoo mail after latest update – get S7122 error message

I have my instinct configured to get my comcast email which is forwarded through yahoo mail. It has worked perfectly since October. After the last update the error message occurs. I have tried getting it directly through comcast with recommended set-up and changing outgoing port to 578 but I still don’t get the automatic push to the phone. It suddenly received 25 emails at once from yahoo. I got curious and sent 25 test emails, the phone did not receive any until I hit the 25th then they all showed up. It seems to suddenly be taking the get 25 most recent setting literally and waiting until there are 25 in the yahoo box before it recognizes any. The refresh button only gets the error message. I have deleted all accounts, pulled the battery, etc. Any help for this new dilema?
